Flying from Edinburgh Airport
Edinburgh Airport sits about 8 miles west of the city centre, just off the A8 near the M8/M9 junction.
The terminal drop-off zone charges £8.50 for the first 10 minutes, but the long-stay car park offers 30 minutes free (about a 10-minute walk) — a genuinely free alternative for most drop-offs.
