Stansted is reached via M11 Junction 8 then the A120 – both back up badly on school-holiday getaway days and early bank holiday mornings, adding real time on top of the fuel estimate.

Non-stop to London Liverpool Street, every 15 minutes at peak times and every 30 minutes off-peak. Cheapest booked in advance. Best for one or two travellers with light luggage.
Coach (National Express / Flibco)

National Express runs routes A6 (Victoria/Paddington), A8 (Liverpool Street/Waterloo) and A9 (Stratford/Canary Wharf). Flibco runs every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, to Liverpool Street and Stratford. Usually the cheapest option for a solo traveller.
Driving + parking
